Will She?

November 29, 2015 by Emily Dill 2 Comments

Will she be comin’ round the mountain when she comes? Will she?

Or will she be like, screw that noise and screw you, I’m good where I am.

Maybe she’ll think, if they really want to see me that badly, they’ll come to see me.

After all, it’s quite the hassle to get six white horses fed and watered and ready to travel. It’s just so much easier for you. You have a car.

So if you need her, she’ll be at home.

But you’re welcome to come ’round the mountain when you come.

Love it!!!! I love it when you take the “familiar” and make it even more so. You are brilliant at that!!

Aww, thank you! Those are some of my very favorite things to write about – familiar things with a new spin. 🙂
